Manager, Digital Channels & Web Marketing

Position Summary: The Clearing House (TCH) is a banking association and payments company that is owned by the largest commercial banks in the United States. TCH owns and operates the core payments system infrastructure in the US and is currently working to modernize that infrastructure by launching a new, ubiquitous, real-time payment system. TCH is the only private-sector ACH and wire operator in the US, clearing and settling nearly $2 trillion in US dollar payments each day, representing half of all commercial ACH and wire volume. TCH has provided critical services to the banking industry since 1853, and today, our core products facilitate services including Direct Deposit of payroll, bill payments, and check image exchange.

The Marketing team is seeking a hands-on Digital Channels and Web Marketing Manager who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. In this role, you’ll both lead the digital vision and roll up your sleeves to make it happen—planning, creating, managing, and optimizing digital experiences that drive engagement, leads, and business growth.

This is not purely strategic role—you’ll be in the work, building and updating pages, managing projects, optimizing performance, and working cross-functionally to bring ideas to life across web and digital channels.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Digital & Web Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and execute website strategies to support key campaigns, events, and lead generation efforts.
  • Work directly in platforms like Sitecore to create and update pages, implement enhancements, and ensure content is optimized for UX and performance.
  • Lead technical SEO strategy while actively managing page-level optimization, tagging, and testing.
  • Drive and execute A/B tests, UX updates, and experimentation to improve site performance and user journeys.
  • Support business with regular updates to the website and intranet pages as needed
  • Source images and create design for updates that are in line with brand

Project & Platform Management

  • Manage end-to-end web projects—from planning and stakeholder input to buildout and deployment—across multiple platforms and tools.
  • Collaborate closely with design, development, and content teams to ensure marketing objectives are met with speed and excellence.
  • Perform content audits, update site structure, and maintain site governance and hygiene.

Channel Marketing & Campaign Support

  • Assist colleagues in the build of Salesforce and Cvent landing pages and develop email nurture campaigns based on segmentation and campaign needs.
  • Partner with channel leads to promote campaigns across social, email, paid media, and web—ensuring integrated execution.
  • Write and update digital content with a focus on clear messaging, brand voice, and conversion.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Use tools like Google Analytics, and UX research to evaluate performance, identify insights, and make data-informed updates.
  • Own tagging strategy and execution for campaign and site performance tracking.
  • Report out KPIs and optimization opportunities to stakeholders and leadership.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or related field
  • 8+ years of digital marketing experience, including direct experience with web strategy, hands-on page builds, and campaign execution
  • Proficiency with platforms such as Sitecore, WordPress, Salesforce, Google Analytics, YouTube, and more
  • Ability to write compelling, SEO-friendly web copy
  • Working knowledge of HTML, UX best practices, and photo/video editing tools

  • Understanding and knowledge of best practice in digital marketing space with interest in staying up-to-date with latest trends and developments

Has experience to lead development in the following areas: Analytics, Agile, Governance, Content Management, Information Taxonomy, Prototypes, Wireframes, Search Engine Optimization, Vendor Management, Risk Management, Change Management

Communications:

Has experience contributing to marketing and communications initiatives that include the creation and support in areas of: Brand Development, Blogs, Podcasts, Email Newsletters, Meetings, Presentations, Training, Recognition Programs and Strategic Planning

Design and Technical expertise required:

  • User Centered Design (UCD) Approach
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • User Interface Design / Experience (UI/UX)
  • Adobe Create Cloud Suite (i.e., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Content Management Systems (i.e., LiveTiles, SharePoint, Sitecore)
  • Survey Development (i.e., Survey Monkey or survey tools)
  • Agile Processes (i.e., sprints, scrums, roadmaps, project management (i.e., Azure)
  • Meetings and Events (i.e., Cvent platform)

Physical demands and work environment:

Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Employees in this position will report to the office 3 days per week. Occasional travel may be required. Onsite work requirements may change at any time.

The anticipated annual salary range for NY-based candidates for this position is $120,000-$150,000. Base salary and position level will be determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. For eligible positions, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded contingent on personal and company performance.
