Marketing Coordinator

Department: Marketing & Communication
Location: New York, NY

Position Summary: The Marketing Coordinator provides support to the Marketing & Communications Department and develops materials that support both internal and external initiatives of The Clearing House. This is an opportunity for a marketing professional to gain experience in all facets of marketing communications.

This role requires a self-motivated and flexible individual with a strong work ethic who can juggle a constant change in priorities; is interested in learning and mastering new systems and martech platforms; and can work within a set of parameters due to a highly regulated and deadline driven environment. This role will touch all aspects of marketing & communications including internal and external trade shows; meetings and events; website and content management; email and social media copywriting; marketing analytics; sales support and data management; promotion and communications; and other digital, marketing, and event services as needed.

Qualifications Required:

  • 0 to 5 years in a marketing or sales support function
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in banking or a financial institution is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing time sensitive priorities and make deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, strong work ethic, and a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong experience writing for different projects, with an ability to adapt content to different audiences
  • Advanced writing capabilities

Qualifications Desired:

  • Email marketing, analytics, and an understanding of data compilation
  • Experience with advertising and drafting compelling ad copy
  • Creative and curious with an eye for design
  • Salesforce, & Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a plus
  • Experience writing articles and copy for digital and print channels
  • Familiarity with content and event management systems
  • Proficiency in Office 365 Products, with emphasis in PowerPoint

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for the website’s (external public site and internal employee site) Content Management System Responsible for inputting website content. Familiarity with Sitecore is a plus
  • Provide logistical support for assigned internal and external meetings/conferences
  • Provide support for the event management system on a continuous basis, mastery of the system being the long-term goal (Cvent)
  • Provide support for Salesforce, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud; Responsible for tracking and analyzing marketing data on a regular basis and compiling into reports
  • Provide email marketing support on a continuous basis, mastery of the system being the long-term goal
  • Support development and creation of marketing materials, including our digital marketing and email marketing communications
  • Provide writing assistance for marketing materials such as brochures, sales decks, product ads, and fact sheets. Help ensure all data and points are updated across collateral
  • Assist with writing and editing material to ensure adherence to the company standards and editorial guidelines.
  • Support the creation, administration, and analysis of content on social media to expand the audience and build brand awareness
  • Provide support for the Contract Management System; Responsible for inputting contracts into system and following them from initial development to execution to payment. · Work as part of team, managing responsibilities as priorities change
  • Support marketing swag inventory and ordering of new branding products
  • Update Marketing Office documents as needed
  • Ensure deadlines are met on or before time, while adhering to brand, regulatory requirements, and internal and external processes
  • Work to acquire a basic company, product, and industry information
  • Nurture relationships with both vendors, colleagues, and clients

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Employees will report to the office two to three days each week. Onsite work requirements may change at any time.

The anticipated annual salary range for NY-based candidates for this position is $50,000-$70,000. Base salary and position level will be determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. For eligible positions, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded contingent on personal and company performance.
