Director, RTP Product Management

Position summary:
The Director, RTP Product Management will assist in monitoring the market, developing competitive analysis, and executing against the product roadmap and key deliverables within TCH, supporting the adoption and usage of the Real Time Payments System by banks and their end users. The role requires a strong foundational understanding of product management, and specifically in the Pragmatic framework and agile methodologies, and a candidate who is eager to deepen their knowledge in the Payments industry. Areas of responsibility will include product and operational solutioning and high-level design, with emphasis on both product design and development, as well as execution and delivery. The candidate should be able to orchestrate and manage projects, compile and evaluate market and internal data, and articulate ideas and concepts through concise documentation and presentations to management and customers, as may be required.

Qualifications required:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
• 3+ years of product management experience, including familiarity with the Pragmatic framework and agile methodologies. 7+ years professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and market research skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in business, operational and technical environments.
• Strong to superior production and presentation skills for both internal and external audiences.
• Ability to evaluate complex business problems with a practical understanding of business, production and technical viability and readiness.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word applications

Qualifications desired:
• B.A. or higher with relevant work experience.

Essential functions and responsibilities:
• Support the creation, maintenance and tracking of progress against the product development roadmap.
• Track and evaluate the competitive landscape and relevant industry trends for faster payments.
• Foster a first-line risk mindset integrating rigorous risk assessment and mitigation strategies into all stages of product development.
• Track product and market adoption and translates feedback into enhancement recommendations.
• Support product demonstrations and as well as customer and industry presentations.
• Promote investigation and application of modern technologies and industry trends.
• Ensure that products and client usage meet specifications and quality goals.
• Document and assess any potential product development requirements resulting from client discussions.
• Contribute to planning, design & delivery of pilots/proofs of concept for new TCH RTP product initiatives.
• Analyze industry developments and trends that may assist in the delivery of future market solutions.

Physical demands and work environment: The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. The position will require three days onsite. Additional travel to client meetings, conferences and other events will be required.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $145,000-$180,000. Base salary will be determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. For eligible positions, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded contingent on personal and company performance.
